Adam brings his knowledge and experience of civil litigation and insurance defense to the EdCounsel team. He has years of experience working on behalf of various public entities in southwest Missouri, including school districts, in state and federal court. Adam has handled a wide variety of issues, including personal injury and wrongful death and contract cases. In addition, he has successfully litigated complex civil rights issues in state and federal courts. This varied experience enables Adam to analyze complex, interrelated statutory and regulatory frameworks, and then help his clients smoothly navigate the issues they present.

Adam completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in just three years as part of a six-year Accelerated Business and Law program at Creighton University, earning a spot on the Dean’s List Honor Roll for multiple semesters. Adam then went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska and started his legal career as a summer law clerk for the 17th Judicial Circuit Court in Cass County, Missouri.

Adam is very proud of the fact that his mother touched many students’ lives as coach of the Science Olympiad teams for the local public high school and middle school. Although he now calls Springfield home, Adam is a Kansas City native. When he is not assisting clients, Adam loves to spend time with his seven siblings, of which he is the second oldest. Adam also enjoys trying new restaurants, learning about ancient and medieval history, drawing, cooking a good meal, and reading.
