From a young age, Danielle’s parents instilled in her the value and importance of education. Danielle attended Illinois public schools from kindergarten through high school, before obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Sociology from Illinois Wesleyan University.  She then earned her law degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia, where she received awards for excellence in trial practice and had a journal article selected for publication in the Whittier Journal of Child & Family Advocacy.

Prior to joining EdCounsel, Danielle earned several years  of litigation experience practicing juvenile and family law.  In addition to being a talented attorney, and having served as an adjunct professor for the University of Missouri School of Law, Danielle is also an accomplished photographer with a successful business in Columbia, Missouri.

Danielle lives in Columbia with her daughter, Evelyn, who attends Columbia Public Schools.  They enjoy spending their free time together participating in local activities and events, trying new restaurants (when Danielle can talk Evelyn out of McDonalds!) and taking family vacations.
